The Mego Pocket Super Heroes were released in two series in 1979 and 1980 after the Mego Comic Action Heroes Series. The first five figures in the line are retooled versions of their bent legged 3 3/4 inch Comic Action counterparts. New vehicles and figures were created for this line that were not available in the Comic Action Heroes line.
The figures are based on Marvel and DC comics characters.
Series 1: Batman, Hulk, Jor-El, Lex Luthor, Robin, Spider-Man, Superman, and Zod
Series 2: Aquaman, Captain America, Green Goblin, and Wonder Woman , rereleased-Batman, Hulk, Robin, Spider-Man, and Superman.
Pocket Heroes are solid constructed - no rubber-bands
Figures were shown in print ads, but never released: Penguin, Shazam, and Joker.
