In the mid 1980s, Remco released a series of low-budget military action figure lines, such as American Force, National Defense, U.S. Forces, Defenders of Peace, and U.S. Military, Remco used some of the body molds from Galoob's Gen Patch figures in these toy lines.
 Commando Ranger and National Defense then also used these molds for their toy lines
