Hogan's Heroes was a sitcom about allied POW's held in the fictitious prisoner of war camp, Stalag 13, in Düsseldorf during WWII. The base appears to be that used in the 1953 movie Stalag 17.
It was shown on CBS from 1965-1971 running for 168 episodes.
Colonel Hogan (Bob Krane) leads a ragtag band of POW's behind German lines who don't escape in spite of their network of tunnels. They work intellgance for the Allies, providing locations to bomb and to assist other POS to escape, all under the nose of the incompetent Commandant, Colonel Klink (Werner Klemperer) and his main prison guard, Sgt. Schultz (John Banner).
Sideshow released their 12" figures in 2002. The 12 inch Hogan's Heroes figures capture all of the accurate and strangely inauthentic details of this WWII Prisoner of War camp Comedy. Now you can become a part of the fun as Col. Hogan continues to outwit his mentally outmatched Nazi foes in 1/6th scale.
Over the years models and bobbleheads have been produced for fans of this comedy.
