King Arthur & the Knights of Justice was a Sunday morning animated series which lasted for two seasons of 13 episodes each. Its first episode aired on September 13, 1992, and the last episode was on December 12, 1993.
Mattel released a handful of 5" action figures and vehicles/accessories based on the show. Marvel Comics also released a three-part comic miniseries.
King Arthur has been sent off on a quest. Camelot is now under attack by the evil Lord Viper. He kidnaps Princess Guinevere and holds her for ransom. The wizard Merlin sets out to find men of honor and courage to defend the realm in this time of need. He finds Arthur King, the QB of the New York Knights football team. Merlin transports Arthur and the rest of the team back in time to the land of Camelot to rescue the Princess Guinevere. Can these unlikely heroes rescue Guinevere from the evil Lord Viper and save Camelot from cure desruction?
