Based on the popular television show of the 1970s, this line of action figures came bubble carded. They all came in the same outfit and on the same card. A gold sticker with the character's name was added to the front of the bubble to distinguish each figure. The head used for Luca is the same head mold shared by the Talbot Ninja.
LJN made these toys and later added software to their company products. They had been sold to MCA/Universal in 1986 and then later sold again in 1988. During the 1970s, LJN had some interesting features in their figures that Mego did not. LJN was the first to introduce a body that had a swivel in the middle of the bicep for better arm posability. This body type had the standard hinged wrist like their Mego counterparts. They also introduced a wrist and ankle joint with a ball and socket type arrangement. The NON-bicep swivel arm had this joint. The waist part was painted white to look like underwear.
