As living conditions on earth worsened, the Corps! created operation "Restore Eden". A global team of scientists and military specialists were commissioned to seek out more advanced technologies, habitable planets and possibly new civilizations. This dedicated band of explorers, swearing to preserve humankind on Earth, is S.T.A.R. Force!
S.T.A.R. Force was introduced in the summer of 1997. The line is space exploration-themed but retains some vague military aspects. The initial release of S.T.A.R. Force featured repaints of the previously-released Lazer Force assortment  The first two vehicles for the S.T.A.R. Force line were made available in third-quarter 1997. In 1998 the core six S.T.A.R. Force figures got a revised color scheme which added gold and/or silver highlights and other miscellaneous enhancements. Three vehicles were added to the line  The 6-wheeled tracker vehicle was introduced simultaneously in the Corps! military line.  Three new figures were added to S.T.A.R. Force in 1999, these were appropriately repainted versions of the Justin Case, Lars Lazer, and Full Proof figures. Only one new vehicle has been introduced in 1999, the Complete Launch Set. Â
