Released in 1998 by ReSaurus. Originally a comic book by Dark Horse Comics and then later made in to a movie, these toys are made for the Movie. Originally slated to be a Summer 1998 release, it was pushed back until January 1999. The deluxe "Goliath" was the crowning jewel in the Virus collection - a hulking piece of twisted plastic with electronic effects, the Goliath was a bit of a rariety due to the failure of the film, and subsequently the toy line, while not the prettiest toy ever created, it is huge and heavy and a wonderful addition to my sci-fi figure collection.
